Conjunctions is an intervention and rearrangement by Genevieve Leong at Supperhouse that displaces existing objects, furniture and elements already present in the space. Titled after various conjunctions like meanwhile, due to, supposing, or, in order that and on the contrary, the assemblages when paired with their titles offer up an expansion of possibility while attempting to suggest how these common conjunctions might manifest in object form. Situated site-specifically around Supperhouse in relation to the other works in the exhibition, the assemblages act as connecting points between artworks, people and the space; they act as extensions of sentences and conversations to be made.
